Yesterday Candy and I went on one of our longer hikes. Starting at Titusville and going to a hilltop lookout bench over Oil Creek about 2.65 miles up stream so it's a 5.3 mile round trip. All up, and then down hills. My legs are always tired after this hike. Some infrared photos:( Read more... ) -

Up extra early today (4:30). I drive Roswell to work most days and he was supposed to be there by 7 today. Which gave me time to do my morning routine and then some. Time to write here too. Right now it's raining but we had some sunshine this morning so I took a quick walk around the back yard with Rainy and the little full spectrum camera and the IR Chrome filter. I think, the more I use it that that is my favorite of all the filters and if I was to invest in a better, bigger infrared or full spectrum camera I'd get one with that ( Read more... ) -

Candy and I basically did the exact same hike yesterday that Rainy and I did on Sunday - past the beaver dam and then up on Black Gum Hill. I used the little full spectrum camera for picture taking with the IR Chrome lens yesterday though. Pictures:( Read more... ) -

Good morning. I only have a few minutes to post something before I take off for a hike with Candy. So here's a picture I took just now with the IR Chrome filter on the full spectrum camera. I do love how orange/red it makes all the trees and grass without changing the colors of paint and other things.

The sun is shining this morning (again!) Though it's supposed to be raining by this evening.
Yesterday Rainy and I hiked up over the hill above the campground at Two Mile. I was on the lookout for flowers to take pictures of with the IR Chrome filter. Only found a few daffodils and some coltsfoot. Some pictures: ( Read more... )
